SA Toys general: Safety Assessment for toys

Article 18 of the revised Toy Safety Directive:
Manufacturers shall, before placing a toy on the market, carry out an analysis of the chemical, physical, mechanical, electrical, flammability, hygiene and radioactivity hazards that the toy may present, as well as an assessment of the potential exposure to such hazards.

THE MAIN AIM OF THE SAFETY ASSESSMENT IS TO IDENTIFY AND MINIMISE RISKS OF PRODUCT AND TO EVALUATE THAT NO HAZARDS ARE PRESENT THAT ARE NOT COVERED BY SAFETY STANDARDS.

The tool : for each item, by replying various questions,
a test report with your logo is generated and provide the main safety
requirements to be applied to the item.
